Coming from Hakata, Japan is this hand painted Hakata Urasaki doll of a man carrying water jugs. He has a water scoop in one hand and holding a bar with his other over his shoulder that carries 2 water jugs. He also wears a large reed hat. The figure of the man is from the 1950s, is 12" tall and is in very good condition. One of the jugs has been damaged at some point and repaired but difficult to tell. Has a tag on the bottom that reads "Hakata Urasaki Doll, Japan" and another that tells of care of the doll.
