Vintage Handcrafted Stoneware Chicken Roaster 9 1/4"
This chicken roaster looks gently used. IT appears to have been handmade with the signature of the artist on the bottom.

This handmade chicken roasting dish will cook the best roast chicken that you have ever tasted.

It steams the chicken from the inside while crispy roasting on the outside, the result being the most succulent, moist chicken that is scented with just a hint of the flavoring of the liquid you used in the liquid cup.

Just put liquid and herbs (wine, beer, lemonade, gingerale , or water with herbs,etc..) in the center cup and then set the chicken (a 3-4 pound fryer) over the cup.
Rub a bit of olive oil or butter and seasoning on the skin and place into a cold oven.
Turn the oven on and bake in uncovered for about 1.5 hours at 350-375 degrees F.

If you wish, you can add vegetables to the base of the cooker and roast them with the chicken.
