Stunningly gorgeous and LARGE Moon and Stars Compote, a type of lidded pedestal candy dish. This specific pattern, also known as "Palace," was originally introduced by Adams & Company in 1874. The "Moon and Stars" pattern features intricate pressed glass designs of stars and round depressions resembling moons. No noticeable chips in the glass. In good overall condition, minute flecks and scratches from normal wear are consistent with age and use. With lid, it measures approximately 14” tall.
