This is a vintage Mid-Century leaping Antelope/Gazelle TV Lamp. TV lamps are particularly iconic and were mainly produced between the 1950s and 1960s, and I believe this one may have been made in 1957 by the Treasure Craft Company. TV lamps were designed to sit on top of the TV and create a soft glow of light, helping to alleviate the eye strain associated with early, low-luminosity TVs. This gorgeous lamp is glazed ceramic in black with some grayish/greenish tints/accents.
This is a vintage item. There is some crazing as shown in the pictures. I believe it is in great condition, but please review the pictures and make your own assessment. This lamp turns on and off and takes a standard bulb. I would recommend replacing the cord, as it dates back to the 1950s.
