This vintage Metlox Poppytrail Red Rooster carafe with lid is a charming addition to any collection. The carafe is made of ceramic and features a colorful red rooster pattern. It stands 9.75" tall. This set was made from 1955 to 1979
It comes with four cups and saucers, perfect for serving tea or coffee. The backstamp is printed. I've seen these Carafes with an attached handle this one does not have one. It has a yellow stain on the lower part of the pot, see pic of it. I did not try to remove it so don't know if can be done. The 4 cups and saucers are in Very good condition no chips or cracks.
