An attractive and unusual Navajo bracelet signed BJ. Possibly the work of Benjamin James or Bobby Johnson. I researched both artists work and frankly, this piece could have been made by either one of them. This bracelet has curved oval links that have hand stamped design work and applied silver button details. The central, larger link features a vibrant oval turquoise cab, which is set in a serrated bezel and flanked by applied silver buttons. The bracelet measures 7 1/2" end-to-end x 13/16" at the widest. Best suited for a wrist that's 6-6.5 ". On the reverse, an applied silver lozenge is marked "Sterling BJ". Weighs 15.9 grams and is in very nice vintage condition.
