Vintage sky blue art deco teapot from 1940s. Made by the Pearl China Co. Pottery with heavy glaze. 22k gold on spout rim, handle top, lid top, lid handle. Double swirl design on both sides. 4 1/4 inches high with lid on, 8 inches handle tip to spout tip, 4 1/2 inches wide. Good vintage condition for age and use. Gold has wear all over. Grip area of handle has more wear. Lid has wear and lid handle does. Spout gold has wear. Some surface chipping along part of one side and in front of handle from use. Inside rim of lid that goes down into pot has chip/bump damage from lid being put on and off. See photos. Still a lovely piece for a collection. Less common lid design and double swirl design. Great retro decorator piece.
