Vintage Porcelain Candle Holder Mother Mary With Baby Jesus Mid Century Modern

This vintage porcelain pillar candle holder features the Mother Mary holding Baby Jesus in a beautiful mid-century modern style. Both mother & child have blonde (pale yellow) hair. The faces are beautifully painted highlighting their features. The mother is in a seated position in a long sleeved flowing dress in pink or peach. She also has a blue long shawl with gold lining. The child is standing in her lap wearing the same color blue shirt. The double candle holders are on both sides of the statue with gold accent. The mother child theme is perfect for all occasions. Or it can hold the religious & catholic theme, making it a great addition to any decorative collection. It measures approximately 6.5”tall measures 7.5” wide x 3”depth. It is signed Japan made in the 1950s.
