Vintage Red Violet Blue Sommerso 5” Art Glass Cut Faceted Murano Vase
Attractive art glass vase in good condition. Clear vase with layers in various shades of blue and purple/violet. This glass making technique was developed in Italy in the 1930s, primarily associated with Murano. Sommerso is layered glass and has a clear separation of color. Rounded egg shaped vase with faceted sides, top and bottom. Measures approximately 5” high x 4” wide. No chips, cracks or breaks. Some maker encased bubbles. A few outer scuff marks. Very heavy – weighs just over 3 lb 11 oz before packing. Selling as is. Use pictures as part of description.
