Vintage Riding Hat Stetson Fifth Avenue, navy felt with black grosgrain band and navy veil. The short brim tapers to a teardrop point at the back accentuated by the black ribbon bow. The front is adorned with an ornate metal piece sewn into the hat. The hat is labeled 22 1/2, measuring approx 4in height at the crown, approx 10in diameter, unlined. This is a rare hat, I have yet to come across a similar style from the Stetson Fifth Avenue line which has made this hard to date. Possibly 1930s to 1950s. Overall good original vintage condition, the veil does have a few holes in the net as shown and can be repaired or replaced.
