This vintage pair of hand-painted paper mache parrot and cockatoo on a perch is a beautiful addition to any collection. The intricate details and vibrant colors showcase the Mexican culture of folk art. The signature found on each piece along with with the country of origin Mexico inscribed the artist.
The birds have amazing contrast of pastel and bold colors and are made with amazing detail the perches are also paper mache and has leaves and vines wrapped around the perched. There is one minor flaw on the cockatoo the middle crest has a little hole but when perched the hole is not evident. It’s a vintage piece of paper mache so also some other minor flaws are a possibility but I didn’t see any. If you have any questions please do ask.
