About this item
The Knapp Monarch Company in St. Louis, MO made this Gad-A-Bout travel iron. It is chrome with a brown plastic handle. The handle folds down for easy storage. It has hot and cold settings for rayon & silk, wool, and cotton & linen. The fabric cord is in good shape and the iron still heats up. The connector that goes into the iron has a chip out of the plastic. The plug end is good but it too has some chips.
The iron is 4-1/2" high with the handle extended. It is 7-3/4" long and 3-3/4" deep.
