This is a boxed set of 6 buttons/cufflinks, sterling silver, in the original Vogt case. I believe you'd put one over each cuff button and then four over the primary four buttons that show on your shirt to complete your western ensemble. The engraving is in the classic Western floral scroll style hand-cut and highly detailed. They appear to be formal shirt studs / cufflinks (often used with tuxedo-style Western dress).
Vogt Silversmiths (est. 1970s, based in California) are known for Western-style sterling silver jewelry, buckles, and accessories. Their work is usually hand-engraved, heavy gauge sterling with floral scroll motifs the designs you see on these cufflinks are very Vogt. Theyre still active today and their pieces are carried by Western outfitters, bootmakers, and fine cowboy gear retailers.
These appear to be never worn. But they're likely vintage / aged a bit, and could do with a polish. But they're marked "sterling vogt mexico" & are really great!
