Royal Copenhagen glazed porcelain figurine of two Pheasants finely hand painted in the Danish underglaze technique.
Stands 5.5" (14 cm) tall and measures approx. 8" (20 cm) long x 4" (10 cm) wide.
Weighs 1 lb 0.4 oz (470 g).
Designed in 1907 by A. Nielsen-Petersen (1872-1936) who designed animal figurines for Royal Copenhagen from 1897 to 1919 (Signed AP on base).
Marked at the bottom with the Royal Copenhagen Denmark blue Triple Blue Waves seal, the number 1243/862, the painter initials clp and the number 862 incised.
According to the seal (bar below letter Y in Royal) this figurine was produced in 1952 and was discontinued in 1981.
Mint condition as seen in the pictures.
