Vtg 1970's Ceramic Handmade Vase Ginger Pot With Lid Blue Brown Gray Glaze Abstract Design
We have an extensive collection of vintage studio art ceramics.
This piece is just beautiful.
Fantastic abstract design, almost looks like koi fish swimming in the blue sea.
The lid has a round handle at the top. It is glazed on the outside and the inside has a 1/2" lip that fits snuggly into the pot. That fine lip is glazed. The lid is 6 1/2" by 1".
The pot/vase is 11" tall with the lid. With out the lid it is 8" tall. At the widest point of circumference is 25". It slowly graduates down to 12 1/2" circumference. The base is 4".
There is a slight defect on the edge of the base. The edge of the pot is not glazed however the inside is totally glazed. No markings.
A very stunning piece, unique and so attractive.
